Baldino's Lock and Key, Inc. was founded by Albert M. Baldino in 1961. What started as a hobby of interest, has expanded to employ over 100 highly trained employees, technicians and experts to service 18 lockshops, a locksmith wholesale supply distributorship and an Electronic Division.

In 1961, Mr. Baldino completed a correspondence course to sharpen his locksmith skills, with the objective of establishing his lifelong dream of owning and operating a business of his own. While continuing to work as an airline mechanic for United Airlines during the 4:00 p.m. to midnight shift, Baldino’s Lock and Key Service, Inc began to blossom during the day. For two years from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., it truly was a family business, as Mr. Baldino, his wife, Doris, and sons Mark and Gary worked in a little shed under the backyard treehouse to establish the new lockshop.
